One of the main features of the island is its countless beaches. Sequential, endless, with natural boundaries rocks on the west side, usually deep, cool, sandy or pebbly. Small, friendly, in coves or in populated areas in the east, with sand or pebble. Many of the beaches across the coastline are accessible either by sea, on foot or unregulated.
All the western beaches offer the visitor a unique sight at sunset as the shades of blue become one with red and gold, and the sun seems to sink into the sea.
